GEN Z FIT “Generasi Z Fokus Inovatif Tangguh” Lawan Anemia or GEN Z FIT “Generation Z Foccused Innovative Resilient” Against Anemia

Community service activity entitled “GEN Z FIT “Generasi Z Fokus Inovatif Tangguh” Lawan Anemia” was conducted by the Master in Pharmacy Management Students of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Class of 2024. This event was held on February 5, 2025, In SMK K Klaten, Klaten Regency, with total 73 participant from grade 10 to grade 12. This activity was carried out using the lecture and discussion method with students from SMK K Klaten. Apart from discussions and lectures, the activities were also interspersed with ice breaking and question and answer sessions with the participants.

The material presented at this socialization was related to the importance of consuming blood supplement tablets, especially for teenagers. The topics presented include an introduction to anemia, its causes, symptoms, and how to prevent it through a healthy and nutritious diet followed by consuming blood supplement tablets. Apart from the topic of blood supplement tablets, this community service activity was also carried out together with other groups who raised an interesting topic, namely the dangers of drug abuse in teenagers.

The socialization activities went well, followed by high enthusiasm from the students. The activity took place interactively where students actively asked questions related to the material presented. Apart from that, students were also given information media in the form of leaflets to add important information that needed to be known about anemia and the importance of consuming blood supplement tablets. The female students also received souvenirs and blood supplement tablets where administering TTS at the right dose can prevent anemia and increase iron reserves in the body.

The high enthusiasm and warm welcome from SMK K Klaten made the event run exceptionally well and smoothly. It is hoped that this activity will increase teenager awareness of meeting their nutritional needs, including physical activity, shared meals, and the consumption of Iron Supplement Tablets (TTD) for teenager.
